Magnetic separators are primarily used for separating iron-containing magnetic materials in shredded materials, and are widely applied in industries such as non-ferrous metal recycling plants, foundries, aluminum plants, chemical plants, etc. The main function is to separate iron from shredded materials (such as copper granules, stainless steel, plastics, aluminum shavings).
The drum-type magnetic separator mainly consists of parts such as a magnetic drum, a material bin, a feeding structure, and an iron-receiving plate. The outer wall of the drum is welded with stainless steel plates into a cylinder, and the inside is filled with strong magnetic materials. The material bin and feeding structure are made of stainless steel plates, while the remaining parts are welded with ordinary steel materials. The shredded materials fall onto the magnetic drum from the material bin.The rotating drum throws non-magnetic materials away from the drum, causing them to fall in front of the equipment. Magnetic materials are attracted to the drum by magnetic force and are detached to the rear iron-receiving plate as the drum rotates. This accurately and conveniently
separates magnetic and non-magnetic materials, thereby achieving the purpose of sorting.
